Beautiful One Day

An exploration into the paradisiacal landscapes of tourist destinations, this work explores how memory and the photographic plays a part in the preservation of our environment. As we develop a relationship with an area, we feel a responsibility for its longevity. By encouraging the audience to feel an ethereal connection to the landscapes of their childhood, in their memories, I hope to forge a connection with the landscapes they interact within on a daily basis. This work is the culmination of an Honours degree, and my exegesis about the process and final work can be read here: Beautiful One Day: a memorial to paradisiacal landscapes
